WELCOME to my Website & a sampling of my work. I love to paint, and consider art my therapy. I paint what I like and that makes for a very diverse portfolio. I love to paint children, birds, landscapes, seascapes and ladies in white dresses. If one person likes what I do, that makes me happy. My Paintings can be seen at SOUTHWESTERN ARTIST’S ASSOCIATION, in Spanish Village - Balboa Park in San Diego.
My Watercolor, Oil and Acrylic Paintings can be see at Southwestern Artist's Association throughout the year. The Gallery is located in Spanish Village-Balboa Park in San Diego. I also have a collection of miniature paintings and greeting cards available for sale in the gallery.
As a member of East County Artist’s Association she served as 2nd Vice President/Programs director. Most recently Sharon is Editor of the Southwestern Artist’s Association Newsletter. Sharon has also taught art classes for children and for developmentally disabled adults.
After earning a Certificate of Competency in Desktop Publishing, and as an avid photographer she utilizes both as tools in her artwork. Because painting on location isn’t always possible, many of her compositions are from her own photography. As an accomplished artist for over 30 years, Sharon makes a point to keep her work fresh by attending workshops in an effort to polish her skills as well as to develop new techniques in her work.
